North Carolina Occupational Employment and Wages
Occupational wage data for approximately 600 occupations are presented in this report. Due to confidentiality and quality criteria, the Labor Market Information Division cannot produce estimates for every occupation in every area. Data for the surveys were collected on different occupational structures and therefore are not directly compatable.

Occupational employment projections for North Carolina and over sixty sub-state areas are presented in these reports. Due to confidentiality requirements, the Labor Market Information Division cannot provide estimates for every occupation in every area. Some of the data utilized in the estimation process was gathered in surveys based on different occupational structures. Therefore, the reports are not directly compatible

 

Top Employers
List of the ten largest employers by county and the top 300 manufacturing and nonmanufacturing employers statewide. All rankings are based on average employment for the quarter. This information is derived from the Employment and Wages program files and shows company name, major industry group and employment range.

 

Announced Business Closings and Permanent Layoffs
Lists data derived from a statewide survey of newspaper accounts of closings and layoffs, and from information supplied to the Employment Security System by the employing units experiencing the closings/layoffs and other means.
